We chose Helo out of the litter because of how chill he was. He remained that way throughout the 9 years we were blessed to have him as part of our family. He was here when both of our children were born at home, loyally remaining by my side throughout both labors. He would keep me company no matter where I went in the house – even in the bathroom. He would like on the rug outside of the shower or tub when I took a bath. He never liked to be far from me. On the night of his passing, I snuggled him in my bed for a little while before helping him to his own bed. He lay at the foot of our bed as he took his last breath. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
