My sweet girl, Izzy The Pig Telemachos, left this world today.Anyone who knows me, knows I loved that dog more than most people. She found me my senior year of college, no boyfriend, no roommate, just me and her.Only 6 weeks oldme 23.We lived in 3 different cities, 5 different houses and met numerous people, who came and went.She was an active swimmer, a hater of squirrels, befriended a cat (Bandit), preferred pooping on concrete, tennis balls were her toy of choice and mostly, she LOVED, the 4-letter word (WALK).She got her nickname, The Pig, due to her incessant grunting/snorting noises shed make when she was wanting something. Like mother, like daughter.In her later years she became a step-daughter to Mista J and a step-sister to Little J, two amazing guys. One, whod constantly play with herthe other, the lover and giver of treats.She also grew to know 2 more senior kitties (her step-sisters). She didnt always enjoy their company, but damn she loved their food.All in all, I think I gave her the best lifebut, really, she made my life, SO much better!!Ill miss you everyday Baby Girl. Izzy Telemachos 03/20/2008 – 10/26/2021I am so sadden and beyond disgusted by Pet Passages of Melbourne.I went to pick up my sweet dog Izzy.Pulled up to an open garage with thecremation/Kelm on full blast. Garage full of deep freezersThe most disturbing thing I have ever seen in my life. I had to bang on the front door.Im here to pick up my dogs ashes. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. Sorry, lost your appointment, its a busy day (with a smile on his smug face).Thank goodness I was, I wanted to get out of there so fast. The man gave me my dogs ashes like it was a jersey Mikes order. Are you here to pick up Izzy? Bam! Threw her on the table.[ I ordered a $200 urn from them, it was shipped to my house and not their establishment, if you can call it that. ]I was standing there, with urn in hand. The curt man at the front desk said, you want me to put him in there?Its a she by the way!!!I grabbed my dogs ashes and ran out of there. Do not go through what I went through. I am so traumatized.
