Chauncey was such a happy boy! He would smile all the time and for more than 16 years he would play and burrow in the sofa or blankets at bedtime! When he would sleep during the day, he would sleep with his face tilted to one side which would leave one side of his face fluffy, and the other smooshed…he was my smooshie face! Chauncey brought joy to all the kids he knew and as a young dog would perform all sorts of tricks for treats! He knew how to give a Hi-5, and 10…Sit…Roll over…Dance…Say your name (our version of speak); of course after realizing the routine, he would do all of his tricks within seconds to get treats! He knew ‘people talk’ even though many did not think so, he would let you know what he wanted/needed if you asked the right question. Chauncey had a great big heart and even though he liked his alone time, he loved to snuggle in the sofa, always right up against your leg where he was most comfortable! Chauncey enjoyed the beach and art festivals as much as we did! He had a cool outdoor bed on the lanai, stroller to safely maneuver the pet friendly arts festivals held throughout the year & cool palm tree leash to go with his Florida lifestyle and fun personality. Chauncey liked to travel and being outside.
