My Kitty Kitty was a neighborhood cat who originally belonged to an elderly lady whom we purchased our land from back in 1993. When she sold her home and moved to a retirement community Kitty Kitty was left for a grandson to hopefully watch over him. Well that did not happen. He ended up being the neighborhood cat who pretty much fended for himself. In 2000 we sold our home in Tn. but kept 16 acres and had a large shop built on our property and then we decided to go to Florida for the winter months. Kitty Kitty used to spend a lot of time at our property and considering he was out in the wild he was the most lovable cat and even loved sitting on our laps when we would have a fire in our fire pit in the fall. We would come home to Tn. in the spring and within a couple of days Kitty Kitty would show up and spend summer months at our place. Then in 2008 when my husband Leigh needed a hip replacement we stayed in Tn. Kitty Kitty became our second cat and had his place in our large shop at night. Eventually we made him a full time house cat after a couple of injuries caused by wild animals. He became our lovable lap cat and he will be greatly missed.
